I’ve lost my PASMO

Named PASMO cards and PASMO commuter passes can be reissued if lost. However, blank PASMO cards cannot be reissued if lost. If a card is not reissued within two weeks, you must apply again for the reissue of a lost card.
If the lost PASMO card that you requested for reissue was also registered for the auto-charge service, the new card will also be registered for the auto charge service. If the reissued PASMO card is also used as a bus commuter pass, you must also request the bus operator to reissue a copy of the smart card commuter pass details.

Report the loss of your card

Fill out and submit the reissue application with the necessary information at any station or bus operator sales office in the PASMO/Suica service area. You must also present a valid form of identification such as a driver's license verifying your identity when requesting a reissue.

Issue of numbered ticket for reissues

A numbered ticket for reissues will be issued after you have finished the reissue application process. Do not lose this ticket as you will need this ticket to complete the reissue process.

Reissue

Bring the numbered ticket for reissue you received when you applied, 1,010 yen in cash (500 yen deposit plus a reissue processing fee of 510 yen), and a valid form of identification to any station or bus operator sales office in the PASMO service area.

If you find your lost PASMO card

If you find your lost PASMO card, bring it to any station of bus operator sales office in the PASMO service area. Your initial deposit of 500 yen will be refunded in exchange for the card.

  • The deposit cannot be refunded before the new card has been reissued.

I can’t use my PASMO

You can reissue your PASMO card if it can no longer be used due to damage of some kind.
If the damaged PASMO card that you requested for reissue was also registered for the auto-charge service, the new card will also be registered for the auto-charge service.
