However, Mobile PASMO can only be issued using a blank PASMO card or a named PASMO card (here and below, limited to an Adult PASMO for which member registration has been performed as set forth in Article 5).

  1. In addition to the foregoing paragraph, a PASMO card issued by the Company can be reassigned as Mobile PASMO by transferring information from the card to the IC chip on a portable information terminal. (Hereinafter, this is referred to as "reassigning.") However, reassignment is limited to PASMO card for first-time member registration.
  2. When a PASMO card is used for reassignment as mentioned in the foregoing paragraph, the deposit collected as mentioned in the first paragraph of Article 11 of the Rules for Using PASMO shall be handled as described in paragraph 6 of Article 20 prior to reassignment.

The user can issue PASMO on Apple Pay to a designated portable data terminal by performing prescribed application operations on the designated portable data terminal. However, PASMO on Apple Pay can only be issued using a blank PASMO card or a named PASMO card (here and below, limited to an Adult PASMO for which member registration has been performed as set forth in Article 5).

  1. In addition to the foregoing paragraph, a PASMO card issued by the Company can be reassigned as PASMO on Apple Pay by transferring information from the card to the IC chip on a portable information terminal. (As with Article 14, paragraph 2, this is referred to as "reassignment.") However, limitations apply to PASMO cards that can be used for reassignment.
  2. The user can issue or reassign multiple instances of PASMO on Apple Pay to a single designated portable data terminal. However, the number of instances of PASMO on Apple Pay that can be issued or reassigned depends of the usage state of the user's designated portable data terminal.
  3. When multiple instances of PASMO on Apple Pay are issued or reassigned to a single designated portable data terminal, the user must select one of the multiple instances of PASMO on Apple Pay for use.
  4. When multiple instances of PASMO on Apple Pay are issued or reassigned, their value cannot be combined into a single instance of PASMO on Apple Pay. Further, neither value nor any other information can be transferred between multiple instances of PASMO on Apple Pay.
  5. Notwithstanding the rule set forth in the first paragraph, when the PASMO on Apple Pay issued or reassigned to a designated portable data terminal is a named PASMO, a blank PASMO cannot be newly issued or reassigned to the same terminal. Further, when an additional named PASMO is issued or reassigned to a terminal that already contains a named PASMO, the name of the additional PASMO must match that of the PASMO that is already present.
  6. Notwithstanding the rule set forth in the first paragraph, when the PASMO on Apple Pay issued or reassigned to a designated portable data terminal is a named PASMO, a blank PASMO can be newly issued or reissued to the same terminal.
  7. When the PASMO on Apple Pay present on a designated portable data terminal is a blank PASMO, it can be converted to a named PASMO by performing the member registration procedure set forth in Article 5. Further, when the designated portable data terminal contains multiple blank PASMO instances, after converting a single selected instance to named PASMO on Apple Pay by performing member registration as set forth in Article 5, other instances of PASMO on Apple Pay can be handled as named PASMO by performing the prescribed operation. In this case, functions such as topping up cannot be used with other involved instances of PASMO on Apple Pay until those instances have been subjected to the prescribed operation.
  8. By following prescribed procedures, the user can issue PASMO to another designated portable data terminal that is managed under a system account which is under the management of a designated portable data terminal provided by Apple Inc. on the condition that it is the same as the wristwatch used as the designated portable data terminal.
  9. In the case described in the foregoing paragraph, PASMO on Apple Pay used with a wristwatch as designated portable data terminal may only be used by the same person who is the user of another designated portable data terminal. Further, when PASMO on Apple Pay is used with such a wristwatch, the wristwatch concerned must be managed using the user's other designated portable data terminal.
  10. PASMO on Apple Pay issued to a wristwatch as set forth in paragraph 9 may be transferred to the designated portable data terminal being used to manage that wristwatch.
  11. PASMO issuance as specified in paragraph 1 or paragraph 2 can be made by a designated organizer on behalf of the user of a designated portable data terminal (limited to a wristwatch) for which co-link settings have been made. In this case, the PASMO issued in the first paragraph can only be a blank PASMO, while reissue as set forth in the second paragraph is limited to a named PASMO card. A co-linked PASMO that has been issued or reissued in this way can only be used by the relevant user.
  12. A PASMO card is invalidated by PASMO reassignment as set forth in paragraph 2. Notwithstanding the requirement of the first paragraph of Article 10 of the PASMO Rules, once a PASMO card has been invalidated, the user shall be responsible for immediately disposing of that card, such as by cutting it in two. The Company's claim to ownership of the PASMO card shall be voided by the user's act of disposing of the card.
  13. Once a PASMO Card is invalidated as mentioned in the foregoing paragraph, its card number is also invalidated, and cannot be used to manage and is not inherited by PASMO on Apple Pay on the designated mobile data terminal to which it was reassigned. However, this limitation may not apply if a procedure set forth separately allows its continued use.
  14. When a PASMO card is reassigned as set forth in paragraph 2, the deposit made against the card as set forth in Article 11, paragraph 1 of the PASMO Rules is refunded by the Company to the user by adding equivalent value to the user's PASMO on Apple Pay.
  15. Information contained in PASMO on Apple Pay cannot be transferred to a PASMO card.

In addition to the method set forth in Article 15 of the PASMO Rules, the user can complete the required procedure to apply for registration of a credit card to be used for topping up.
